Silhouettes Gala: A Night of Design, Elegance, and Celebration

This past week, the new division of Heights Venture – DOT Studio – hosted the Silhouettes Gala, a spectacular evening dedicated to celebrating elevated design and the architecture and design industry as a whole. Set against the backdrop of an upscale vintage car venue, the event blended sophistication and creativity, offering guests an unforgettable experience.

Upon arrival, attendees walked the vibrant orange carpet, posing for photos before stepping into a transformed space. Classic cars adorned the venue, serving as striking ornamental decor that paid homage to timeless design. The immersive atmosphere was heightened by video projections of DOT projects displayed on the surrounding walls in a mesmerizing showcase of innovation and craftsmanship. With low lighting and a lounge-like ambiance punctuated with cozy seating – provided by Culture Space, the setting was both intimate and inspiring.

Live music from Louis Pettinelli Entertainment, a talented string quartet, set the tone for the evening, creating a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Guests indulged in a culinary experience curated by Wolfgang Puck Catering, featuring an exquisite selection of hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Standout bites of the night included the Spago’s signature spicy tuna tartare, delightfully tiny brisket taco, flavor-packed chicken potsticker, miniature Beef Wellington, and beautifully crafted macaroons. The grand finale? A show-stopping treat of nitrogen-cooled, chocolate-dipped cheesecake pops—an instant hit among attendees.

Beyond the delicious food and elegant setting, guests enjoyed a variety of engaging activities. Many tried their luck at a round of poker while others mingled over drinks, catching up with industry friends and colleagues and admiring the striking all-white 3D printed models of a variety of DOT projects. A special touch of the evening was the hand-rolled cigars provided by The Cuban Rollers, each one wrapped with a custom DOT-branded band—an exclusive keepsake from the night.

As the evening came to a close, we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the turnout. Seeing so many of our clients and industry peers come together to celebrate design and innovation was truly special. The Silhouettes Gala was a testament to the power of architecture, creativity, and collaboration, and we look forward to hosting many more memorable events in the future!
